Hello!

Ella Dick (also known as Ella.Bella.Draws on socials) is a black Illustrator and Graphic Novelist. She has graduated at the School of Visual Arts (2022) with her BFA in Illustration. In her art, she looks for a sense of nostalgia and storytelling when creating her work. She works digitally and finds inspiration in books, anime, pop culture and fashion.


While Ella reads romance books in her free time, her characters are roller blading on Saturn’s rings and having tea parties with animals. Her work is graphic, line art based,

reflecting a part of herself that can only be displayed in her illustrations. Centering around children’s and young adult publishing and loves to use the

color pink.

A digital fan magazine, in celebration of Y2K and 2010s television. Featuring a collection of artwork and writing based around cartoons, sitcoms, and animes.


Chosen by the zine producer to create the cover for the magazine. Creating a cover displaying nostalgic memorabilia from various children’s' TV shows.

A non-profit zine in the style of a fashion magazine dedicated to the DC character ‘Starfire.’


Created a page illustration for the zine based off of sewing patterns booklets from the 80's. Putting the fashionable character in the pages of the pretend booklet.
